The Learning Centre in Ponsonby, also known as TLC, is a full day childcare centre, which provides the highest quality of care, with small group sizes, the best teacher to child ratios, and caring, dedicated and qualified teachers. In a villa in Ponsonby, the emphasis is on providing a homely, natural environment with healthy food, and genuinely caring caregiving. 

Spaces availability as at 24th January 2026.

We are currently open for enquiries for infants born in October or November 2025 to start in the August/September 2026 intake, or for infants due in March/April 2026 for the October/November 2026 intake.

We have one space available for a toddler born between March and June 2024.

We have two spaces available children born between March and June 2023.

Please note: while we have a 3 day minimum, we never offer Tuesday-Thursday to 3 day children. Priority is also given to applicants wanting 4-5 days if a full time space is available.

Please ignore reference to sessions, this is a system limitation, we only do full day care, with options for 7 hours, 9 hours or 10 hours per day.
